Hairstylist

 

Job Description & Summary

Looking for full and part time stylists.

Responsible for using scissors or clippers to trim, cut, or shape hair in a beauty salon. Provides consultation to client, selects equipment, cuts hair, styles, and then blow-dries and finishes hair while making the client feel special, well-cared for and/or pampered.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform consultation to get the client's opinion on desired hairstyle.
  • Cut, trim, and shape hair into desired style.
  • Utilize clippers, combs, brushes, scissors, and blow-out guns to style and cut hair.
  • Before applying styling products such as moose, etc. be sure client is in agreement.
  • Massage neck, or scalp if client requests or you have offered and client has let you know they would like this extra pampering.
  • Give client mirror to check color/cut.
  • Sweep up hair around station.
  • Check out patrons only if receptionist is not available.
  • Promote all salon services and products.
  • Create updos or elegant hairstyles for formal events such as prom, weddings, or other occasions.
  • Add highlights, color, or curling chemicals to hair.
  • Apply deep conditioning treatments.
  • Apply straightening products or permanent waves.

Requirements

  • Current Cosmotology License

Nail Technician

 

Job Description & Summary

Looking for full and part time nail technicians.

To deliver outstanding customer service while providing high quality nail services in accordance with established Paisley Salon procedures making client feel special and pampered.

Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable about all facets of nail care.
  • Detail-orientated.
  • Enjoys socializing with people and comes across caring and genuine.
  • Must be able to work various hours including nights and weekends.
  • Must be a team player and work well with others.
  • Ability to perform natural nail services and/or artificial enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell retail products.
  • Follow all company procedures and policies.
  • Ensure behavior/personal appearance is clean and professional at times.
  • Greet clients and perform a consultation prior to treatment.
  • Excellent Safety and sanitation skills.
  • Handle daily spa booking requests.
  • Clean and organize designated work area following each client and at the end of each business day.

Requirements

  • Current Nail technician License
